Honestly I would really want to like it, as I do appreciate the atmosphere, some of the puzzles and the basic idea, but the execution is sadly the thing that pulls this into the "not recommended" side of the scale. There are a lot of small bugs, sound levels are somewhat poorly balanced, grammar isn't all that good and the game is so dark that most of the time I didn't even see the things music and dialogue was trying to warn me about. These wouldn't be a huge issue if the game was free to play, but it isn't. The price is small, but still something I wouldn't ask for a game this unpolished.. I didn't think it was possible, but I was disapointed by a 49 cent game.I will credit the game with this much: The creator very clearly had a decent amount of ambition, using 3D models in an engine that normally only uses sprites, and generally tries to be something a little bit different than the usual fair for RPG Maker horror games. Unfortunately, between the poor writing, the mediocre attempts at atmosphere, the overall ugliness of basically everything on display, it is fairly clear that this game was made with more ambition than skill.. There isn't much to this. The first puzzle you work through doesn't really give you a clue as to what it is referring to at all. I felt disconnected and apathetic. Near the end, you obtain a weapon that you don't even use and the ending was anticlimactic.. Hotel Anatolia... It's like Hotel California, but with no hippies. Be sure, you won't stay there for long and never return again. It's worth visiting, though.. I'd suggest you Save your game repeatedly, because you'll die more times than you'll want to admit. The Grammar isn't.. amazing but it isn't too bad either, unfortunately the story starts off far too quickly and you don't really get a good feel for it. Theres not much you can press or do other than collect items and move, or dodge monsters. Which is a shame really. The game doesn't honestly give you much warning on when to run, you can die very quickly if you choose to help your wife and don't run to the door she goes through within a few seconds. Which is ridiculous but i can see where they were going with this.. but unfortunately it makes the game very tedious.Annoying little bug, if you enter the room before her accidently, she never enters the room and you're alone, you can leave and it'll begin the scene all over again and you'll repeatedly bug back into the bedroom with her never following you.Welcome to Hell.Another not so fun bug, if you go to sleep at the beginning and don't answer the knocks at your door, the game bugs completly and breaks. The woman won't let you in and you can't use the axe because the character has no prompts to work with because you never activated them. The art itself is lovely, i really enjoy intricate work like this, little bits of detail in each corner, tiny items you can't do anything with but complete the room. The characters themselves are also brilliant. The game is painfully short.. and not worth the money.Good try, but its a no from me.
